I just posted in the Soap Box thinking today didn't count as a game day since we aren't playing. Sorry if I broke the rules....

No yesterday was a free fire day. Just wanted to bump it up as reminder for next Thursday. Sorry for the confusion.

Who would have ever thought I, an academic elitist with no real world experience, would feel more at home with Palinistas than so-called WVU football fans!

It's toxic in the football boards, y'all. Avoid at all costs!

I have had my last football post and reading for a while. I am ill at all the bandwagon jumping fair weather fans and said so. I don't care if I get ripped. Half these clowns never went here and they think their personal identioty is wrapped up in a bunch of 18-21 year olds. I would rather be here trading shots with Mounty in educated political discourse that reading that snot on Football.

That said, what is your reaction to the government taking on so much worthless paper to bail out the greedy bastards who caused this whole mess by writing so many sub primes?

My free market chromosomes are melting!!

I have to say this is an interesting phenonenon taking place on the Football boards. Not unlike a losing locker room or a corporate meeting room I would say. Many lessons to be learned.

You know maybe we need to institute a post game cease fire in the Football section after a loss. Be a heck of a lot less emotional.

And the thing that gets me, is that they think they could do a better job. They probably haven't sniffed a locker room since they a freshman on the JV team. I would like to see one of them spew that crap in front of the coaches and players.
