Talkoption your posts have some merit that is drowned out by the most annoying writing and attitude on this board. I hate your posts, but that is just one man's opinion.

But I will summarize - Whine! Why can't we play defense like Virginia yet still shoot like Kansas! Whine! And get all 5 star players! Whine!

More merit than 99% of the posts on this board. Rarely do you read a post on this board that is well thought out and supported with facts and links. My writing is not the best and could be groomed but why bother as it is a board with all accepting the quick over the thick.

What really is so darn confusing is the facts that the guys can shine at the charity stripe and yet be so confused in shooting from the field. We must be the oddest team with such a high FT% and a lousy FG%. This indicates Bobo is not getting his talented players into sets where they can shoot the open shot. My comprehension is limited but the facts do indicate we have talent but not the smarts to use them judiciously. Our gym rats must be screaming angry to accept the piss poor shooting they are taking and need to understand that the courage to shoot your shot is mandated and expected. Stop the bs flatfooted resting plays and get moving creating the screens (like Kansas did) for our players to shoot it open and win it all.

I expect a paycheck for all my work if we win! LOl

It's almost like some people are better at shooting a basketball than other people.

To be soo good at free throws and so poor at 2s and average at 3s when our players are able-bodied shooters point to the ability to get an open shot consistently. A simple solution to cure our weakness would be to run screens and in and out sets along with having a sharpshooter specialist. No bench sharpshooter is stepping up and they know we need this position filled. Our practices could provide the players who are to be relied upon but nothing to date. Train a player to specialize on 3s only and have him come in on offense late in the close games. Bobo is not getting this done or our players are not fulfilling this basic job. Gee, I wish JC and Dax would have brought a player along to be this guy but no results to date. I think our seniors know this game well enough to have found someone who could replace them if they are sitting. No mention of the 3 sharpshooters. Job position is unfilled at the close of the season.

Who will be the SHOOTIST?

Talkoption is correct in his points but....

Just enjoy the ride buddy. Sit back, have a beer or 7, and watch us either tear up the tournament or go home. Either way, enjoy the ride. Its more fun to be a homer than a realist.

This made me actually laugh out loud. No offence but you guys are a bunch of losers. Talkoption has better posts than you. I always forget his name on here but the "coach" has the best posts on the board, along with wvmtneer, sane, the professor, Eery, thisisridic, Joedaddy, pretty much everyone on this board posts better stuff than 1642. The man who calls everyone a bandwagon fan if you even mutter 1 slight criticism about the university.

Considering the vast majority of my posts are made with a smart phone while sitting on the toilet, I declare my posts to be the best of them all. I declare myself winner of the internet and of my bathroom. Bubbles wins!!

New website name proposed: We Must Ignite This Toilet

Shooting woes:

We are decent shooters...........but I compare our shooting this year to shooting a free throw.

There is a difference between shooting free throws during a game with an average of 80 percent.

And making them in crunch time when you must make them.

When the game is on the line that is when we have trouble. (Championship game)

But if we are on (Texas Tech) we can beat anyone...anyone

I am the biggest homer in the world but all this Marshall talk is concerning. I mean, Murray State has a great Point guard we may want to focus on more than a matchup that's probably not going to happen.

I dont think any human involved in the WVU program, other than the people involved in advanced scouting, have given one brain cell's worth of thought about playing Marshall.

This is strictly fan hype, media hype, BS.

Now Marshall on the other hand. . . .they are in wet dream containment mode, most likely.

Murray State gave Auburn all they could stand and our common opponent, Marist, was defeated by Murray State by 37 points and by the old gold and blue by 6 points.

Our team better not underestimate the Racers.
