Thanks for the backstory.

Does anyone know if XM radio carries any WVU sports? I am not thinking about this game, since I will be watching it, but I was wondering about XM for other games. I have an XM radio in my truck that has never been activated. For me, it isn't worth activating it unless WVU is on XM.

With the WVU game day app I'm not sure why XM would be needed. They do like 7 hours of coverage including the game.

Has anyone checked the amount of battery life the gameday app is using? iOS 9 tells you the amount of battery each app uses. The gameday app was using more than 20% and I never even used it. It was just running in the background but required a lot of battery. Is anyone else having that issue?

Thanks. I had no idea it existed. I just loaded it.

I haven't downloaded it yet. Thanks for posting.

Just an update. One of the other users will be streaming the game. I guess they will post info in that topic when it's time or perhaps start a new one or "sticky" it in that forum.

If that doesn't work then I'll try Fox Sports Go and sign in with my Suddenlink account. It looks like they need 3rd party cookies enabled though.

You are correct WV-Wildlife will not be streaming today but WVUrx will be picking up the slack. If some of you remember, WVUrx used to do it before Wildlife came along.

While he has not posted the link yet, I believe this is it.

Viewing and listening information for the Maryland game.

Where to watch

The game will be televised on Fox Sports 1 (FS1) at 3 PM EST.

FS1 is available on DirecTV, Dish, and most cable providers. You may need to check if it is part of the tier of channels you currently subscribe to. An extra sports package or higher tier may need to be added to your service in order to get it.

To check if your provider offers it and what channel it can be found on Fox Sports has provided the below service.

Find Fox Sports 1 on your TV

Fox Sports Go

http://www.foxsports.com/foxsportsgo/

This is Fox Sports version of WatchESPN. You can watch content through a web browser or an app on most android and apple hand held devices. It is also available on the Amazon Fire TV but is NOT available for ROKU or AppleTV, at this time.

*To use Fox Sports Go is contingent upon whether your cable or satellite provider offer it, similar to the WatchESPN app.

*I checked Fox Sports Go on my end and it is listed as being offered.

Other options

WV-Wildlife

WV-Wildlife will not be streaming the game today but WVUrx will be picking up the slack. If some of you remember, WVUrx used to do it before Wildlife came along.

While he has not posted the link yet, I believe this is it.

Where to listen

I will not list the local radio stations, if you live in WV then you probably know your local station that carries the game. This is for those that live out of radio range.

WVU Gameday app

It can be downloaded from ITunes or Google Play onto most iOS or Android devices.

The app streams the live audio feed of the game, including pre and post game coverage. It is powered by TuneIn so you might be able to find it there without downloading the app. However, I suggest using the Gameday app because it also provides other perks that may enhance the game day experience.

Another option

IMG set up a phone number that streams the audio of all football and basketball games.

Any of overseas military 'Eers know if they're showing the game on AFN? I tried to check online but my internet is poor here.

SiriusXM (and XM) has the WVU / Maryland game listed for Ch. 200 starting at 2:00 pm. They must have a lot of pre-game stuff.
