barry brunetti is getting a lot of pressure right now ,but in the end i think he is ours. jeremy johnson is one fine qb. reminds me of pat except this kid can really throw the ball . big up side to this kid also.

I for one will not worry about whom may sign or may not.
I will see on Feb.3 those that want to play for the blue and gold !!! I will get excited about those that want to bring a N.C. to the Mountaineers !!!
High school players must do what is right for them, just as we do in our lives,so be it.
We now have players that will play for the gold and blue, that in the past would not have given us a look in the first place. That alone is something to get excited about !!!
LETS GO MOUNTAINEERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just don't want to lose anyone else to scUM. Blech! That hurts the worst of anything. I worry for the players that get sucked in by that snakeoil salesman.

I'm with those that aren't going to worry about it until they've signed a letter of intent and are real Mountaineers. Too many times we get our hopes up because a kid says he's going to sign then changes his mind. Or, we get this build up of a highly rated recruit that signs but then doesn't either live up to expectations or doesn't make the grades.

The highly rated recruits are cool to see on paper but I enjoy the the Mountaineer players that earn a 5 star rating on the college football field. Such as Pat White, Owen Schmitt, and Steve Slaton.

depsite all Brunetti's efforts to recruit for WVU, I just read about what he said about his visit to Starkville.

"Coach Mullen did not promise that I would start but the competition would be wide-open, he needs a QB that can run and throw, something they don't have. I am going to make my decision after my in home visits with Coach Mullen then with Coach Stewart. The visit to MSU was good, better than expected, I loved it, they made me feel at home".

goodbye! Let's hope we can keep JJ.

Why in the hell all of a sudden are we having trouble keeping guys? I know some come and go but this is getting ridiculous.

Decommits:

Rogers
Bell
Pickett
Heard
the DB from Warren Ohio, I'm so pissed I can't think.
Probably Brunetti
Millines is thinking about it.

My Eyes !! My Eyes!!!

Seriously, it's simple Hail. They look at who else is on the roster ahead of them. Brunetti doesn't think he can compete with JJ. Rogers doesn't want to compete with Noel and Jock. Some kids would rather play on a loser than sit on a winner and wait their turn or compete. That's one of the reasons people shouldn't have been so hard on JB. He waited and competed. So did PW. You never know who is going to get hurt, flunk off, rob a 7-11, or change positions.

I played 3 years on a terrible college soccer team. My senior year the new coach got some great recruits and I sat until the game was decided. But we won the National Championship! Trust me, winning is better!!!
